| Hills continued as for the lower stream of the Rhine River from Rudesheim, the width of the river had become very narrow. Many cargo boats were coming and going. Moreover, in the hills of the shore, the castles used for medieval times appeared one after another. The purpose of castles were collecting customs duty. Probably, a lot of traffic was "The Rhine Gold" of those days. |
